The FRINGEMK painting prize is created to provide an annual survey of painting within the British Isles and the selectors are leading curators and artists with connections to Milton Keynes.

This year's panel is Stephen Snoddy, Director of the Walsall Gallery, Anthony Spira, Director of Milton Keynes Gallery, FRINGEMK 2009 commissioned artist Andy Harper and FRINGEMK Artistic Director Sally Annett.

After many discussions and much deliberation the judges could still not decide on an overall winner for this year's prize. The award was therefore shared among our four finalists:            Jake Clark, Michele Fletcher, Emma Talbot and Brendan Lyons.
